Obituary Match
Obituary Match is for insurance companies that need to find unreported deaths in a book they already administer. Cloudswift compares those records with publicly visible obituaries aggregated into the FactGraph.
What it does
Policyholders, annuitants, and pension payees
The match is aimed at in-force lives and people still being paid: life policies, annuitants, and pension payees. Your team decides what to do with a candidate.
Public obituaries on the reference side
The obituary side of the match is data that was publicly visible and that Cloudswift has collected. It is not a private death feed described on this site.
Candidates, reviewed by you
A shared name, date, or place produces a candidate. It does not, by itself, establish that a policyholder has died. Someone on your side reviews it.
Scoped by the agreement
Which fields you send, whether Cloudswift stores them, and how results come back are part of the commercial agreement. This page does not set those terms.
Where it is used
Unreported death on a life policy
Run a book of policyholders against publicly visible obituaries and review the people who look like a match.
Annuity still in pay
Use the same comparison for annuitants when a death may not have been reported to the payer.
Pension payee
Look for pension payees who appear in a public obituary so payment status can be reviewed.
Described plainly
- Coverage is the publicly visible obituaries Cloudswift has collected. This site does not publish a count of records, sources, or counties.
- We do not publish a match-accuracy figure. People share names. Dates and places can be incomplete on both sides.
- Obituary Match is sold by conversation. There is no self-serve file upload on this website.
